Solicitor General Tushar Mehta's book launch. Home Minister Amit Shah was there. I also read somewhere that the" entire Judiciary" was there. The Chief Justice of India also spoke at the event. In any real rule of law democracy, such an event would be a matter of concern. In India, it appears to be a matter of pride for the people involved. Why should the entire Supreme Court Judiciary attend this event. Imagine the SCOTUS Chief Justice doing something similar. In India, the gravest bending of rules and ethical values is not only normalised, but is flaunted.
