Dear Justice D Y Chandrachud,
I am a lawyer who exposed corruption by General Electric Company in the Railways Marhowra Diesel Loco factory Project. My Writ Petition in Delhi High Court WP Civil 1280/ 2012 was sabotaged. Fraud was committed on the Court and lawyers from AZB appeared for GE Respondents over a period of three years with forged authority documents and fraudulent vakalatnamas. Soli Sorabjee and Zia Mody and other lawyers from AZB were involved in this fraud on the Court. I attach a copy of CM 62254/ 2023 (with annexures pending) in Delhi High Court placing on record a forged power of attorney which was filed in WP Civil 1280/ 2012 by Nanju Ganpathy, then Partner in AZB. This document is on the face of it a forgery. The Judgement issued in Delhi High Court WP Civil 1280/ 2012 (besides being perverse) is vitiated by fraud and is null and void.
I am facing a grave threat to my life and I am being poisoned. Poisonous chemical fumes and gases are being released into my rented premises in Rajokri where I am staying since September 2020. I am being poisoned every day including today since the morning.
I have also complained that I was drugged, sexually harassed and sexually assaulted by lawyers Raian Karanjawala and Soli Sorabjee between 1997 and 2001. These complaints have not been redressed.
Soli Sorabjee was widely known by Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and Bombay High Court lawyer to be a serial sexual predator. He was the Harvey Weinstein of the Supreme Court. His sexual predation was an open secret that was openly spoken about.
I am also being poisoned because of these complaints of sexual harassment and sexual assault made by me against Soli Sorabjee and Raian Karanjawala.
I also attach a draft consolidated list of dates about recent filings and hearings in petitions filed by me in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court.
I am seeking protection.
I am also placing on record my objection to the placing of Soli Sorabjee's library in the Supreme Court Judges Library in a section titled with his name thereby honouring the sexual predator Soli Sorabjee. This is a slap on the face of women like me who he drugged, sexually harassed and sexually assaulted. His name must be removed from the Supreme Court Judges Library. I have no objection to the books donated by his family but the Supreme Court must not honor this man by naming a section of the Judges Library after him.
I know that you have a longstanding friendship and relationship with Soli Sorabjee and Zia Mody. Hence perhaps you might want to recuse from my cases, from the listing of my cases, and from my request made herein so that it can be considered without bias.
Besides being a sexual predator, Soli Sorabjee was also corrupt and a "fixer", which is the word that would best describe him. His role in preventing my complaints against GE from being heard is well documented in court records.
Soli Sorabjee also got exposed for handing out India International Centre membership as favors to persons for quid pro quo in violation of IIC rules. An audit found his signatures on IIC documents establishing this. An attempt is underway to cover up with the false claim that Soli Sorabjee's signatures were forged. Well, then why did IIC or Soli Sorabjee not file an FIR with the Police for forgery of his signatures.
Justice Chandrachud, you are presently the Chief Justice of India. There is documentary proof of the fraud committed by Zia Mody with the participation of Soli Sorabjee in my Delhi High Court Writ Petition against General Electric Company, WPC 1280/ 2012.
I request you as Chief Justice of India to maintain a distance from Soli Sorabjee, Zia Mody, AZB, Raian Karanjawala etc.
Seema Sapra
