Announcement of launch of newsletter for litigating lawyers by Seema Sapra, General Electric Company whistle-blower and sexual harassment complainant against Raian Karanjawala and Soli Sorabjee

I have decided to launch the publication and sale of a monthly newsletter for the benefit of litigating lawyers from January 2019. Each issue will deal with a single topic in detail. Topics will includes legal issues of public interest (i.e. issues like the right to religion under the Constitution in the light of the Sabarimala, Triple Talaq and Ayodhya cases; Demonetization; Aadhaar; RBI reserves and the appropriate relationship between the RBI and the executive; etc.). Topics will also include discussion of legal principles and their relevance under our Constitution (for example the principle of open justice). Legal topics, issues, principles and judgments of practical as well as academic interest to litigating lawyers will also be featured. The language used will be accessible. The discussion will cover the legal and policy landscape and be highly analytical, detailed and informative.

I have been assured of full support in this venture by several lawyers.

This publication will be available in paper copies and will also be released online after a delay period. At a later date, I might offer the option of online subscriptions. It is tentatively titled "The Indian Litigator: Principles and the Law". Another title option is "The Principled Litigator".
