I again spent last night in my car. This is now eleven nights in a row that I have been forced to spend in my car because Justice Gita Mittal and Justice J R Midha (of the Delhi High Court) have not found time to hear my applications for protection and safe housing. Both these judges know that I am being compelled to spend the night in my car.
Last night my car was parked in Defence Colony close to Mr Ashok Desai's house. During the middle of the night, I heard a motorcycle. A minute later or so, this motorcycle turned on a police siren for no reason. I was unable to record this siren which lasted for about 10-15 seconds. The motorcycle drove away and the siren was switched on again at a distance. I recorded that.
I have reason to believe that attempts were made to intimidate me during the night. One suv in particular kept circling the area. The local security guards were also used to make me feel uncomfortable.
The police is again targeting me.
Both Aman Lekhi and Mr Sudhir Chandra Aggarwal offered to help me find accommodation almost 8-9 days ago. While Mr Sudhir Chandra Aggarwal has not responded at all despite coming face to face in court, Aman Lekhi made two suggestions both of which were inapproppriate and unacceptable. I am not sure how seriously these suggestions were made. He first told me he could find me a place in Jangpura. Anyone aware of the facts of my case will know that I will not want to live in Jangpura. Second he suggested the AIWC women's hostel. This is also a suggestion that is inappropriate and unacceptable. I will be in more danger of being eliminated, drugged, poisoned and victimised in a hostel where I would be under the control of an institution with wardens etc.
Aman Lekhi must know that both his offers would have been unacceptable to me. So given that I have spent 11 nights in my car, I can only conclude that I cannot depend upon Aman Lekhi for help in finding safe accommodation.
